Proclamations and Commendations

The City Council regularly approves proclamations and commendations to bring attention to causes and recognize individuals, groups, and events that impact Laguna Woods. Proclamations highlight causes observed on certain days, weeks, or months (e.g., Fire Prevention Week is observed each year in October), while commendations recognize momentous accomplishments, milestones, and other events.
