NOTICE OF ELECTION
CITY OF LAGUNA WOODS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Municipal Election will be held in the City of Laguna Woods on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, for the following officers:
Three (3) Members of the City Council, City of Laguna Woods –
Full terms of four (4) years
The polls will be open from Saturday, October 26, 2024 through Monday, November 4, 2024 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and, on Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Except as otherwise provided in Sections 10225 and 10407 of the Elections Code of the State of California, the nomination period for candidates for the above-listed offices begins on Monday, July 15, 2024 at 8:00 a.m. and closes on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 5:00 p.m.
If no one or only one person is nominated for an elective office, appointment to the office may be made as prescribed by Section 10229 of the Elections Code of the State of California.

The nomination period for the November 5, 2024 General Municipal Election begins on July 15, 2024 at 8 a.m. and closes on Friday, August 9, 2024 at 5 p.m. During the nomination period, nomination papers may be obtained from and – when completed – filed with, the City Clerk’s Office at Laguna Woods City Hall, 24264 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods, CA 92637, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
