The Orange County Transportation Authority (“OCTA”), in partnership with California Department of Transportation (“Caltrans”), is studying potential alternatives to improve the Interstate 5 (“I-5”)/El Toro Road Interchange. While the I-5/El Toro Road Interchange Project is not a City of Laguna Woods project, the City of Laguna Woods is working closely with OCTA, Caltrans, and the cities of Laguna Hills and Lake Forest due to the project’s proximity and potentially significant impacts.
