SPECIAL MEETING
June 10, 2004
2:00 P.M.
Mayor Ring called the Special Meeting of the City Council of the City of Laguna Woods to order at 2:00 p.m.
Mayor Ring stated there would be a moment of silence in remembrance of President Ronald Reagan. Mayor Ring led the Flag salute.
III. ROLL CALL
COUNCILMEMBERS PRESENT: Bouer, McLaughlin, Ross, Ring
ABSENT: Hack
STAFF PRESENT: City Manager Keane; City Clerk Condon;
City Manager Keane advised Councilmember Hack was not able to attend as he was attending a San Joaquin Hills Transportation Corridor meeting.
4.1 Close City Offices in Remembrance of President Ronald Reagan
Councilmember McLaughlin discussed keeping City offices open on Friday, June 11, 2004.
Moved by Mayor Ring, seconded by Mayor Pro tem Ross, and carried unanimously (4-0) to keep City offices open on Friday, June 11, 2004 and that he and Mayor Pro Tem Ross would ring a bell at noon in front of City Hall in conjunction with the local churches who would be ringing their bells.
There were no public comments.
The meeting was adjourned at 2:05 p.m. to a Budget Workshop at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Laguna Woods City Hall, 24264 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods, CA 92653. The regular meeting will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 16, 2004 at Laguna Woods City Hall, 24264 El Toro Road, Laguna Woods, CA 92653.
